One of the most dynamic and fastest-growing sources for home improvement and home maintenance advice in the country, Homefront, now marking its 10th year, is the brainchild of builder and contractor Don Zeman. Based in Savannah, GA, Homefront was founded in 1995 by Don and now includes a radio show, 90-second daily radio hints, 90-second television news and website.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri. who cut his teeth in the construction industry by working on the renovation of the historic homes in south St. Louis, Don has logged more than 25 years of experience building and renovating homes in the Midwest and Southeast.

"Our focus has always been educating homeowners and consumers," Zeman said. "The more information homeowners have, the better decisions they can make about their homes and projects. That's what we do here at Homefront."

Since the explosion of the radio show across the country and the addition of 90-second daily hints, Homefront has added a unique television franchise - 90-second news stories designed to run in local news programs. These news segments are being shown in morning, noon and early evening news shows as well as local programs. "It's just another way for us to educate homeowners," Zeman said.

Don began his radio career by filling in as the host of a local home improvement radio program and soon after began hosting a locally produced television home improvement show. When the substitute job ended, Don began broadcasting his home improvement show on a syndicated basis. Homefront began as a Midwest regional radio show but in the last year has become the fastest growing nationally syndicated home improvement radio show in the country.
